Kathy Wilcox, PT, DPT
Kathy received her BA in Psychology from UC Santa Cruz in 2008, and afterwards spent 4 years fostering creativity in children as the Creative Arts Director at the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Cruz. Kathy graduated with her doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California in 2017. She enjoys working with orthopedic patients as well as pediatric clients. In her spare time Kathy enjoys swimming, hiking, Paint Nites, and crafting.
Brent Lagace, Performance Coach, CSC
Brent graduated with his undergrad degree in Kinesiology in 2010. He was a three sport athlete in Track and Field, Basketball, Rugby and became an All-American in Track and Field in Javelin his senior year at Westmont College. He has coached at Arcadia High School, Maranatha High School and Chino Hills in Track and Field, Football, and Basketball. Brent worked for UCLA in 2014 as an assistant strength and conditioning coach and earned his C.S.C.S certification upon completing his undergrad. Brent completed his masters in Coaching and Athletic Administration at Concordia University while serving as the NCAA Div2 school's sport-wide Head Strength and Conditioning Coach as well as assisting with the Track and Field team. Brent and his wife Megan, reside in Glendora, CA where he coaches and teaches at Mt. San Antonio College. He enjoys staying active and is training towards the 2020 Olympics in javelin where he ranked #3 nationally last year in the U.S.
Angelica Giordimaina, PT, DPT
Angie has been working as a Physical Therapist for the last 4 years. She received her B.S. in Movement Science with a minor in Biology from the University of Michigan. Angie graduated with her doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California in 2012. She enjoys working with the outpatient orthopedic population and with neurological clients. In her spare time Angie enjoys hiking, occasional running, and playing recreational softball.
Amanda Rodriguez, Office Manager
Amanda graduated from the University of La Verne in 2011 where she received her Bachelor's of Arts degree in Business Administration and played soccer for 2 years. She formerly coached varsity soccer and cross country at her alma mater, Charter Oak High School. With over 10 years in an office setting, Amanda has dedicated 5 wonderful years here at The Physical Edge as an Office Manager. In her spare time she loves playing with her 2 young sons and attending Dodger games with her family.
Brandon Dunn, Founder & Owner, Performance Coach
Brandon graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelor's degree in Applied Exercise Science and earned his Master's degree in Organizational Leadership from Azusa Pacific University. He also holds his CSCS, CES, CSPS, and PES, as well as a Nike SPARQ certification. Brandon is a former Division 1 baseball and football player and multiple Ironman finisher. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, Brandon has worked with more than 40 professional athletes including Adrian Beltre, the Dodgers Organization, Anaheim Angels, the Nike Sports Academy, 5 Olympians and 2 national teams. In his spare time, he loves to spend time with his 2 children and wife, Lauren.
Lauren Dunn, PT, DPT
Lauren has been working as a Physical Therapist for the last 5 years. She received her B.S. in Biology, with a minor in Psychology, from University of California, San Diego and her doctorate in Physical Therapy from USC in 2010. Lauren was a collegiate swimmer, and enjoys getting patients back to their desired competitive or recreational activities. Additionally, Lauren specializes in body weight supported treadmill training, which research supports for many diagnoses, including, but not limited to, stroke, spinal cord injuries, Parkinson’s disease and cerebral palsy. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys playing with her 2 young children and being active outdoors.
Leigh Dannhausen, Director of Physical Therapy, PT, DPT
Leigh has been working as a Physical Therapist for the last 6 years. She received her B.S. in Psychology, Biology and Spanish from University of San Diego and her doctorate in Physical Therapy from USC. Leigh specializes in sports-specific training, gait analysis, preventative medicine, postural retraining and TMJ dysfunction. She holds certifications in Pilates, Redcord 1, and Redcord 2, integrating these exercise modalities into her treatment program. She was voted Best Physical Therapist in Burbank in 2012. In her spare time Leigh plays on four soccer teams and enjoys hiking, singing, running, playing the guitar, surfing and reading.
