Lauren Dunn, PT, DPT
Lauren has been working as a Physical Therapist for the last 5 years. She received her B.S. in Biology, with a minor in Psychology, from University of California, San Diego and her doctorate in Physical Therapy from USC in 2010. Lauren was a collegiate swimmer, and enjoys getting patients back to their desired competitive or recreational activities. Additionally, Lauren specializes in body weight supported treadmill training, which research supports for many diagnoses, including, but not limited to, stroke, spinal cord injuries, Parkinson’s disease and cerebral palsy. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys playing with her 2 young children and being active outdoors.
Marc Menny, Strength Coach
Marc has worked with athletes from the NFL, NBA, MLB, MLS and EPL, as well as with young sports performance athletes. He has recently received his B.S. in Kinesiology from Jacksonville University in Florida on May. He is also XPS certified from EXOS Methodology. He was a 4-year starting goal keeper for Jacksonville University. In his spare time, Marc likes to go hiking and play sports, particularly basketball and, of course, soccer.
Naomi Burgess, PT, DPT
Naomi has been a Physical Therapist for the last 3 years. She received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science from California State University, Northridge. In 2013, she graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Chapman University. Naomi enjoys working with lower extremity patients and athletes, specifically soccer players. In her spare time, Naomi loves running, hiking, snorkeling, photography and playing her dogs.
Leigh Dannhausen, Director of Physical Therapy, PT, DPT
Leigh has been working as a Physical Therapist for the last 6 years. She received her B.S. in Psychology, Biology and Spanish from University of San Diego and her doctorate in Physical Therapy from USC. Leigh specializes in sports-specific training, gait analysis, preventative medicine, postural retraining and TMJ dysfunction. She holds certifications in Pilates, Redcord 1, and Redcord 2, integrating these exercise modalities into her treatment program. She was voted Best Physical Therapist in Burbank in 2012. In her spare time Leigh plays on four soccer teams and enjoys hiking, singing, running, playing the guitar, surfing and reading.
Angelica Giordimaina, PT, DPT
Angie has been working as a Physical Therapist for the last 4 years. She received her B.S. in Movement Science with a minor in Biology from the University of Michigan. Angie graduated with her doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California in 2012. She enjoys working with the outpatient orthopedic population and with neurological clients. In her spare time Angie enjoys hiking, occasional running, and playing recreational softball.
Walter Grandez, Strength Coach
Walter Grandez has been a strength and conditioning coach for 3 years. He received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Applied Fitness and Active Lifestyle Development from California State University, Northridge. Walter has his CSCS from the NSCA and has his Level 1 Sports Performance certification from USAW. He is also XPS certified from EXOS Methodology. Walter has worked with professional and elite athletes from D1 college, NBA, NFL, and MLS, as well as with athletes from around the world in pro-soccer leagues such as English Premier League, Bundesliga, and Liga MX. He has also trained football athletes for the NFL Combine who have also been successfully drafted into the NFL. In his spare time, Walter enjoys doing Olympic Weightlifting, soccer and baseball.
Brandon Dunn, Founder & Owner, Strength Coach
Brandon is both the Owner and Director of Fitness at The Physical Edge.
He received his certification as a Performance Enhancement Specialist from NASM. He also has his CSCS, CES and CSPS, as well as a Nike SPARQ certification. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, Brandon has worked with various athletes, including 5 Olympians and 2 national teams. In his spare time, he loves to spend time with his 2 children and wife, Lauren.
